Save the date! Cochrane methods symposium, 24 September 2013

A Cochrane methods symposium will take place in Quebec City on Tuesday 24 September, the day after this year's Cochrane Colloquium in the same city. The event will mark 20 years of Prof Doug Altman being a convenor of the Statistical Methods Group, and takes place amidst the 20th anniversary celebrations of The Cochrane Collaboration. It will feature invited speakers talking on topics around statistics, bias and transparency of research. Further details will be announced as they become available, and will be added to the Colloquium web site:

We hope many of your will be able to get to this landmark Colloquium, and will be able to stay on the extra day for this event. A small fee will be charged for registration for the symposium, and it will be open to those not attending the Colloquium.
